The BPM&SOA Consortium Issues Call for Participation:
BPM and SOA - Key to Business and IT Communication?

Jacksonville, FL | March 23-24, 2010

Needham, MA, USA - December 22, 2009 - The BPM&SOA Consortium today issued a Call for Participation for the "Business to IT Communication Symposium," to be held in Jacksonville, FL USA on March 23-24, 2010. Submissions are due by January 15, 2010.

The BPM&SOA Consortium Symposium is one in an on-going series of events looking at ways that management of business processes can yield great benefits for enterprises. This session is a forum for BPM/SOA Consortium members and non-members to present and discuss experiences, recommendations and visions on the ways a business can most effectively plan and deliver on the benefits of BPM and SOA. This particular event is focused on bridging the IT and Business Communication Divide. Submissions are limited to this focused topic and may include:

  • Real-life experience in BPM / SOA undertakings that improved Business to IT communication
  • Strategies and tools for collaboratively managing business processes
  • Innovative use of tools, models or management approaches for same
  • Governance experience / approaches
  • Implementations of tools or services that may improve business and IT collaboration from a business process standpoint
  • Innovative approaches to business and IT working together to improve and deliver on the promise of BPM and SOA

Submissions
The submission deadline is January 15, 2010. The program committee will consider all submissions. The BPM/SOA Consortium holds many events per year; if your submission is not selected for this event we may still contact you for another future opportunity. If you would only like your submission to be considered for the Jacksonville, FL event please indicate this on your paper.

All papers should be prepared in English. Submissions should be limited to one page in length and must include the title of the proposed session, a one-paragraph summary at the top of the paper and summary professional bio information. Submit papers to Program Director Karen Larkowski via e-mail at karen@omg.org.
